Raymond Gozon
Dr. Raymond Gozon is the owner of Indian River Dental and brings advanced training, disciplined precision, and a patient-first philosophy to every appointment.
Education
- Bachelor of Science – Virginia Commonwealth University
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine – Nova Southeastern University (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
Military Service
Dr. Gozon served four years as a Dental Officer in the United States Navy, including a two-year tour aboard the USS Bataan. His military background reflects his commitment to precision, accountability, and high standards of care.
Outside the office, Dr. Gozon enjoys fishing, tennis, and spending time with his wife Katrina, their daughter Charlotte, and their French bulldog, Lilo.

Dr. Carrie Newell
Associate Doctor
Dr. Carrie Newell received her Bachelor of Science degree at James Madison University. She then obtained her doctorate degree in dental surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation, Dr. Newell entered private practice with her father where she focuses on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She has continued her education by taking several courses on various topics including sleep apnea and advanced cardio life support.
Dr. Newell is also an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. She also enjoys spending time with her two sons, biking and traveling.

With the practice for nearly 30 years, Michelle serves as a liaison between doctor and patient. She assists with scheduling, treatment sequencing, and ensuring every patient understands their care plan. Her long-standing relationships reflect the trust our practice values.
With over a decade at the office, Davina helps create a warm, organized experience for new and returning patients alike.
A Virginia native since 2009, our Insurance Coordinator ensures a seamless experience by meticulously maximizing your dental benefits and coverage.
Hannah is a caring and friendly dental assistant whose goal is to make patients feel at ease in the dental chair. She enjoys helping create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient while supporting healthy, confident smiles.
